In Dialogue, you can create the panel or community website. By default, you have the pages below available. You can also add pages.
- Home
- Landing page / Login page
- Discussions (only the case with a community website)
- Profile page
- Unsubscribe
- Change password
Furthermore, you can create Components, Polls, Themes (only the case with a community website) and Activities, which you can publish on the pages.
You can style and customize all pages yourself. Would you like to have the community or panel website completely customized to your corporate identity? Please contact the Crowdtech/MWM2 contact person or email to info@crowdtech.com.
Add logo, name and favicon
- Logo: In Dialogue, go to the home node (the house icon) and scroll down to 'Header'. Under 'Logo', you can select a logo that appears in the top left corner on every page except the landing page. The logo has rounded corners by default, so make sure the logo and any text fit well within it. Under 'Logo reference', you can select a page that the logo links to. It is recommended to select the home page here.
- Website name: In Dialogue, go to the home node (the house icon) and scroll down to ‘Settings’. Enter the name of the website here. This name will also appear in the browser tab.
- Favicon: In Dialogue, go to the home node (the house icon). At the very bottom, under 'Design', you can upload a favicon for the Community.
Create new pages
- Go to 'Home' in the menu of Dialogue and click on the three dots (
).
- Choose the option 'Page – a customizable page' and choose the layout '1 column layout'.

Adjust the order of the menu bar by clicking the three dots at 'Home' (
) to click. Click on 'Do something else' at the bottom and on 'Sort'. Arrange the pages in the desired order. Then click on 'Save'.
You can create unlimited pages in Community. On a desktop page you will see always the first six pages. On mobile devices, the first three pages show.
Organize pages
When creating a new page you can choose a layout. Part the page in different planes or choose a page-wide fill via the option '1 column layout'.
Then build the pages with rows. There are four options:
- 1 column layout: the row consists of 1 column;
- 2 column layout: the row is made up of 2 columns, the split is in the middle;
- Split left: the row is made up of 2 columns, the split is to the left of the middle;
- Split right: the row consists of 2 columns, the split is on the right from the middle.
- 3 columns.
These different options allow you to place images and text in different formats, if desired places of the page.
Add rows
After you have created the page you can create rows to place the content in. Click on the gear icon . Within the row you can again choose the layout of the row. See more information about how to format the rows to add content.
Organize page content
In the row you can add content by selecting an item. Click here in the row on 'Place an (extra) content block'. You can choose from the following content:
- Component – a tab menu that takes you to a news update or results page can refer. See more information about components.
- Embed – embed videos from YouTube, for example.
- Headline – give a row a headline.
- Image – add an image.
- Macro – allows you to add various automated items to the row. See more information about the macros.
- Poll – allows you to poll a created Select poll. See more information about polls.
- Quote – display a text with a quote format. The text is italicized and jumps in.
- Rich text editor – allows you to format text by using bold, underline, in italics or by making it a title, subtitle, button or quote.
Page Visibility and Access
In Dialogue, if you click in the menu on a page, you can select under 'Navigation' the option 'Hide this page from the menu'. If selected, this page will not be shown in the top menu of your community page. You can also make pages available for different roles. You can customize this on the page under "Access" and select the roles that should be able to access the page. In addition, you can make pages publicly accessible here create, such as FAQ page.
