What is a diary study for?
With a diary study you gain insight into thoughts, feelings or behavior of a target group over a certain period of time.
How does a diary study work?
Explain clearly in advance what the homework assignment entails and invite the target group. For example, indicate that the first 25 registrations may participate in this study.
The questions can either be the same every day or change every day, with a new, challenging assignment being given each time.
Set up
Create a topic with the questions they have to answer throughout the day, and link it to a sample of the people you want to invite.
Note: You only need to link a sample to a topic if the topic should not be visible to all the community members.
