Do your members regularly use your community website? Then it’s smart to point them to the option of adding the website to their phone’s home screen.
This allows members to open the community website with one click, almost like a regular app. No download from the App Store or Google Play is required.
We recommend actively sharing this tip with members, for example during onboarding, in a welcome email, or via a news post on the community website.

- the website opens full screen and in a clear layout;

How members can add the community website to their home screen
For iPhone (Safari)
- Open the community website in Safari.
- Tap the share icon at the bottom (square with an upward arrow).
- Scroll down and choose “Add to Home Screen.”
- Optionally enter a short name.
- Tap “Add.”
The community website now appears as an icon on the home screen.
For Android (Chrome)
- Open the community website in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (three dots) in the top right corner.
- Choose “Add to Home screen” or “Install.”
- Confirm with “Add.”
