In Community, go to 'Email' in the menu to manage the emails sent from Community will be sent automatically. Emails are sent by default if the email address has been confirmed, changed or forgotten. These emails are always active. You cannot change the status.
Set the frequency with which you want to send emails with comments and new topics. You can choose from a number per hour, day or week. Leave this setting set to '-' to always send the email. Emails are only sent if the box is checked under 'Active'. Enter a name and email address by email from the sender.
Set up emails

- Tick 'Active'. Emails are only sent if the box is checked under 'Active' is checked.
- Enter a name and email address of the sender by email. See the possibilities with SMTP for sending email securely from your own domain. If you are not sending the email from your own domain, enter noreply@mail.crowdtech.com under “Sender's email”.
Automatic emails
The following automatic emails are available:
- Subscription/double opt-in: A confirmation email sent to to confirm the registration.
- Welcome: A welcome email that is sent after registration.
- Deregistration:
- Confirm unsubscribe: the email that is sent to a community member who has unsubscribed.
- Unsubscribe has been confirmed: the email that will be sent after final deregistration.
- Email change:
- Confirm changed email address: the email that will be sent to a member that has changed their email address.
- Changed email address has been confirmed: the email that will be sent after final email change.
- Forgot password: an email sent as on 'forgot password' is clicked on the login page.
- Discussions
- New topic available: The email is sent as soon as a community member has been added to a topic through a sample selection. If “access for all members” is checked on the community website, the email is only sent to the members who have been added to the topic via the sample selection. Adding the member to the same topic again does not cause the member to receive the email a second time.
- Reply to your topic: the email will be sent to a community member if there is a response to his topic.
- Reply to your comment: The email will be sent to a community member if there is a response to his response within a topic.
