Via 'Authorization' certain rights can be assigned to a role (administrator, community member, viewer and moderator) by means of a check mark. The following rights are available. If assigned, these rights are available on the Community website:
Discussions: topic rights
- Create/edit topic (own): the right to create a topic under a theme.
- Advice: Make this available to community members. Do you want community members to be able to create topics within a specific theme? Then enable the option “Community members can create topics” for the relevant theme in Dialogue.
- Delete topic (own): the right to delete your own topic.
- Edit topic: the right to edit a topic created by another to adjust.
- Delete topic: the right to delete a topic created by another to delete.
- If a topic is deleted, then topic results are no longer available to download.
Discussions: comment rights
- Create comment: the right to create a comment. This right must (in any case) are assigned to community managers and community members, so that they can discuss and respond to topics.
- Delete comment: the right to delete a comment (from others and yourself) to delete. This is useful for community managers, for example.
- Note: Do not assign this right to community members, otherwise they delete comments from others.
- If a comment is deleted, the sender of the comment will be 'Anonymous' and the comment is replaced with "This comment has been deleted."
Discussions: extra topic rights
- Public topic: the right to make a topic public (for all members, so no sample needs to be created for this)
- Sticky topic: the right to make a topic sticky.
- A sticky topic is shown at the top of the list of topics.
- Hybrid topic: the right to make a topic hybrid.
- A hybrid topic means that you first have to publish a reaction yourself before reactions from others can be viewed.
- A notification is visible to all members that it is a hybrid topic Re.
- View hybrid topic: right to see all comments from others without having to respond yourself. This is useful for community managers, for example.
- Individual topic: the right to make a topic individual.
- The comments are then only visible to administrators/Community managers (if that right is granted).
- View individual topic: right to view all comments from others can view within the individual topic. This is useful for example community managers.
- A notification is visible to all members that it is an individual topic concerns.
- Allow likes: the right to allow likes within a topic.
- Members can then like a topic/comment once.
- View labels: the permission to view the labels assigned to topic replies.
- Manage labels: the permission to create and assign labels to topic replies. An settings icon will appear for each topic reply with the options ‘create labels’ and ‘select labels’. Note: with only this permission, you cannot view assigned labels. To do so, also enable the ‘View labels’ permission.
- Set participation end date: right to be able to set an end date until when members can participate in a topic.
- Once the end date has passed, no more replies are allowed on a topic. This will be made known by means of a notification to the community members.
Poll rights
- Download poll results: right to download poll results via the website. The 'Download' button will then become available with the poll.
