You can invite participants to join your community via a registration questionnaire. You can create the registration questionnaire in Survey.
Create registration questionnaire
- Open Survey.
- Create a new survey or go to the survey you want to use as a registration questionnaire. Read more about creating a survey.
- In the menu, go to 'Survey' and 'Survey'. Under 'Access', select 'Respondent enters own email address' or 'Email addresses from list only'. Note: If you have chosen 'Email addresses from list only', you will need to import the relevant email addresses into the Survey under 'Respondents' later.
- At the 'Extra' tab, check 'Redirect page at end of survey' and under 'Redirect to' select 'Community'.
- Enter the questions you want to include in the registration questionnaire.
- Turn the relevant questions into a a profile variable. You can do this in the question itself under 'Profile Variable'. Here you select 'New'. Under 'Label' you can fill in the name of this profile variable. By setting up profile variables, you can link the answers of a questionnaire to a community member's profile. This means you don't have to ask the same questions every time you send out a survey because you already have the relevant information stored. This feature is available for the single-response question, the multi-response question and the input fields question.
- Go to Dialogue. Expand the menu and click on 'Home'. Scroll down and under 'Registration Survey' select the registration questionnaire. Click on 'Save and publish'.
- You can now share the link to the registration survey and recruit members for the community. You can find the link in Survey by clicking on the registration questionnaire, under 'Survey' and 'Survey'.
