Unconfirmed members have created an account and password but have not confirmed the email for the double opt-in. Read more about setting up automatic emails.
Would you like to send a reminder to members with the status 'Unconfirmed' because they have not confirmed the double opt-in?
- Then create a new survey in Crowdtech Survey. Read more about creating a new survey.
- Make sure that 'Alternative end page' is checked. You can find this option under 'Survey' and 'Survey' in the 'Extra' tab. Under 'Refer to', select 'Community' and under 'Page', select the correct Community, often labeled as 'Default'. This ensures that members are redirected to the community website. On the community website, members can re-register. If they try to register again with the same email address, they will see the following message: "Your account has not been activated yet. Your activation link has expired. Click here to receive a new activation link." After members receive the new activation link in their email and click on it, their status will change from 'Unconfirmed' to 'Active'.
- Go to Crowdtech Community and navigate to 'Profiles' and 'Export'. Download all members.
- Open the downloaded file and remove everyone with a status other than 'Unconfirmed'.
- Delete all columns except 'Email'.
- Save the file as CSV UTF-8.
- In Crowdtech Survey, go to the new survey. Navigate to 'Participants' and 'Import', and import the participant file. Read more about adding participants.
- Go to 'Communication' and create a new email. Read more about creating an email. In this email, you can explain why you are emailing Unconfirmed members and what steps they need to take to become an Active member. The link in the email directs them to the community website where Unconfirmed members can request the activation link.
