Once new members have registered or been added via an import, they are automatically assigned a status in the Community. To view the status of each respondent, go to the Community menu, then select 'Profiles' and 'Overview'. The status affects actions like drawing a sample. Members who are enrolled, imported, or active are included in a sample. Learn more about drawing a sample.
The following statuses exist in the Community:

Pending: These members have completed a survey, but the survey did not include a 'Redirect page at end of survey' directing them to the community. You can set up a 'Redirect page at end of survey' in Survey under the 'Extra' tab. Pending members have not created an account. These members are not included in a sample.

Enrolled: These members have completed a survey that included a 'Redirect page at end of survey' directing them to the community (for example, a registration questionnaire) but did not create an account and password afterward. Enrolled members are included in a sample.

Imported: These members were directly added to the Community via the 'Profiles' and 'Import' menu. Imported members are included in a sample.

Unconfirmed: These members have created an account and password but did not confirm the double opt-in email. Learn more about setting up automated emails. Unconfirmed members are not included in a sample.

Active: These members have created an account and password. Active members are included in a sample.

Unsubscribed: These members were previously active but unsubscribed via the community website or the unsubscribe link in an email. Unsubscribed members are not included in a sample. If members have unsubscribed, they can still log in to the community website and participate in topics. They will no longer receive any communication.
