There are several ways you can invite members to the Community:
- Direct registration (via website):
- Members can register via the landing page of the community website. This is the default setting.
Would you like members to be redirected to the registration questionnaire when they click 'Register'? Then check 'Registration button on website' and select the appropriate questionnaire under 'Registration survey'. You can find these options in Dialogue on the home node page. - Would you prefer that members can only log in and not register via the community website? Then enable the 'Register only via survey' option. Make sure the 'Registration button on website' is disabled. You can find these options in Dialogue on the home node page.
- Members can register via the landing page of the community website. This is the default setting.
- Register directly (via website) with double opt-in in Community: in the menu 'Email' you will find a confirmation email under 'Type' called 'Registration'. Check the 'Active' column to use this email for the double opt-in.
- Open Login: To set up open login, follow the steps at 'Invite unknown members'.
- Survey Invitation Signup: Follow to set up open signup the steps at 'Invite known members'.
- Open sign-up with opt-in in Community: follow to set open sign up follow the steps at 'Invite unknown community members'. Then, in the 'Email' menu, you will find a confirmation email under 'Type' called "Registration". Check the 'Active' column to enable it email for the double opt-in.
- Signup via Survey Invitation with double opt-in in Community: Follow for to set up open login follow the steps at 'Invite known community members'. Then, in the 'Email' menu, you will find a confirmation email under 'Type' called "Registration". Check the 'Active' column to enable it email for the double opt-in.
- Sample registration in Community: in the Community menu, go to 'Profiles' and 'Import'. Upload the csv file containing the email addresses of the desired community members and any background information. Learn more about importing community members.
- Signup via sample with double opt-in in Community: go in the menu from Community to 'Profiles' and 'Import'. Upload the csv file with the email addresses of desired community members and any background information. Learn more about importing community members. Set then in the 'Email' menu you will find a confirmation email under 'Type' called 'Registration'. Check the 'Active' column to send this email use for the double opt-in.
