You can add members to an activity on the Community page by sampling. You can also add a sample to a survey.
You can use a filter to invite a certain group. Do you want the whole Invite community? Then you can immediately draw a sample.
Create filters
- In the Community menu, go to 'Selection' and 'Filters'. Click on 'New'.
- Enter a name for the filter that is easy to recognize.
- Choose the type of condition you want to set. You can choose from:
- Variables: the profile variables that you have created.
- Surveys: Participation in specific research in Survey.
- Topic: participating in a topic in Community.
- Date: The time the community member was added to a survey, invited, started or finished.
- Reward: The amount of the community member's reward.
- Activity: the period during which the community member has shown some activity.
- Do you want to add a filter based on multiple options? Then use the and/or options that you see after selecting the first filter.
- Click on 'Save filter' or directly on 'Add to sample' to continue the sample selection. Scroll down if you don't see these options.
Draw sample
- In the Community menu, go to 'Selection' and 'Sample'. Click on 'New'.
- Click on 'Filter' or 'Entire community' at the top.
- When choosing filters you can click on the arrow behind 'Select a filter' click the filter name to add them. The selected filters will be display in the center of the screen.
- Give the sample a name under 'Sample' on the right-hand side. this field is mandatory.
- Do you want to use a quota? Select 'Yes'. Learn more about setting quota.
- Choose the number of days for the rest period. This ensures that respondents who have recently participated in a survey are not included in the sample again. For example, if you set a one-month rest period, only respondents who have not been added to another sample in the past month will be included.
- Choose 'Numbers' or 'Percentage' of your sample. Enter the desired number in the underlying field. Here you select your sample size.
- Add the sample to project by clicking 'Yes'. Match the sample to the desired Surveys and/or topics.
- Click on 'Add sample to project'.
- Click on 'Save'.
